New Trilogy of Talks about Lichfield announced

Local historian Jono Oates has announced a new trilogy of talks on Lichfield through the years in association with Arthur Price, with proceeds to We Love Lichfield.

In his first talk on Tuesday 20 May at 11am, Jono will be talk about the wide range of independent businesses of Lichfield during the mid to late Victorian period.

The second will chart the next small, but interesting period up to the beginning of World War I including Lichfield’s connection with the fated HMS Titanic – this talk is Tuesday 24 June at 7pm.

The final talk is the first time this period has been explored and showcased by Jono…the swinging sixties through to the early, and electric, eighties…a time of great change internationally and how this affected Lichfield. This talk will be on Friday 3 October at 11am.

Each talk costs £10 with proceeds to We Love Lichfield.  All talks are being held at the Arthur Price Factory Shop, Britannia Way, Lichfield, WS14 9UY. There’s free parking right outside and refreshments will be served. There will also be an opportunity to browse the Factory Shop with an exclusive discount for talk attendees.
